He loves it!

Oh I love it here!! Their are so many people here and everyone loves the missionaries and I love them. I need a couple of things like a warmer jacket and  gloves I'll give you a Christmas list😂 ya Thanksgiving was so nice we ate at one of our bishopric's house and it was very good they have the same light fixture in their dining room as us and I laughed at it. And some lady wanted to send you a photo so I let her and you responded quick enough that I was still their so I got to hear about it. Ya my trainer is from Ukraine so I'm picking up some Russian like Paul said😂 but he's good, loves to work and a very funny man. Not just a white boy from Utah. But other then that its rained everyday and the rain poncho thing works wonders!

Here are a few pictures that the Boy sent today!
Scott found one of his best friends int he SL international Airport, Scott was flying to Seattle, and Corbin was flying out to the Mexico MTC.

I'm Guessing that this is a picture of his area.

I think this is his Christmas Tree!

Seattle, Meet Elder Kenfield

We heard from Scott Sister Rasmussen, Scott's Mission President's wife, and she sent this picture and letter to Mike and I, we are so blessed that Scott will be serving in Washington.

Here is the letter we received:
We were so happy to welcome Elder Kenfield to Washington yesterday.  We were thrilled to receive this wonderful group of twenty eight missionaries!  After a three hour delayed flight, we had a great day with dinner, interviews and some training. They bring the fire of the MTC with them and we all catch it.  We look forward to watching your missionary stretch and grow and succeed!   Bishop Waddell told us in mission president seminar that we have that birds eye view that every parent wish they could have to watch the growth of their missionary.  We are truly blessed to be here and serve with these dedicated elders and sisters.   We are looking forward to getting to know him better as he serves the Lord in this beautiful part of the vineyard.
He has been assigned to work with Elder Kochev in the Green Valley YSA Ward in Maple Valley. You will hear from him on Monday which is our P-day.
The church is strong in this area and we love seeing the hand of the Lord in His work here.  Your family will be blessed as he teaches the Doctrine of Christ and brings salvation to those who live here.   We know he will be a great asset to our mission.

I just wanted to make your day,
Sister Rasmussen

We heard from Scott this morning, He is doing good.
Here is his email-
.. ..Okay so thanks for all the letters and presents and emails I love getting them and keep them up send me a lot of packages and stuff

The MTC is great I love it here it has a spirit with it like none I've ever experienced before and it's way nice to always have that feeling with you were every you go. It's, way nice I really enjoy it.

I'm in a room with 5 other guys and it's kinda cramped but we all fit some how they are all way cool and way nice they are some good men I tell you what. But apparently their is only like 4 people in  other  rooms but  I don't mind it, we stay very busy at night talking but usually get to bed at a reasonable time so not bad.

My companion is okay he's really testing his faith he doesn't catch a right hook he has a good heart but man he's annoying, I don't think he realizes that I'm also a member of the church, cause he tries to teach me and acts like he's all knowing and I'm not, so he's testing his luck, and he wants to be a psychiatrist and I think he thinks I'm his patient and it's starting to annoy me and things. But If you  look past that he's not bad.

But I enjoy it here it's way nice I'm leading a lot and coming closer to God like a should be so I got that. Well that's about it I need a couple things and will send to you later.

Love Scott

So our Missionary is doing good, and I am so happy to hear that.
Yesterday I received a picture of Scott and one of his best friends Jared, Jared had just entered the MTC yesterday, so they found each other rather quick. Jared will be serving in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Here is their picture.
